Plan check: Claude Pro has a yearly option, ChatGPT Plus doesn't

We checked the official pricing pages today. Claude Pro costs $20 a month if you pay monthly, or $200 up front for a year, which works out to about $17 a month. OpenAI’s Help Center lists ChatGPT Plus at $20 a month and says there is no annual billing for Plus. Prices exclude tax and may differ in your country. The yearly plan saves a little, but it locks you in for twelve months, which may not suit uneven freelance income. Pricing pages change, so check before you pay.
